I didn't see Newgrounds for two days, and few minutes ago I saw this message:

Congratulations, you've been scouted into the Audio Portal!

What does this mean?

It means that now when you post audio, it will show up in the main Audio Portal listings under the default Approved Artists category. More people will have the opportunity to discover your audio!

It also means you can now scout other artists. If you are browsing audio by an artist who hasn't yet been approved, you will now see a link to scout them.

Our goal is to maintain a minimum level of quality in the default Audio Portal listings, so please don't scout people who are creating beginner or low-effort audio. When the audio listings include too much low quality work, people lose interest in browsing and everyone is hurt by that.

If you aren't interested in scouting other artists, you can keep doing what you've been doing and more people will see it now. Welcome aboard!

Now would be a good time to refresh yourself with the audio guidelines, as well.
